I always tell Gus my favorite thing about him is his charming personality and little nubby tail. Gus is such a sweetheart and when he isn’t being active, he’s snuggling. Gus also came to us with a nub tail (we don’t know if he was born with a defect or if it was docked. We got him when he was 10 weeks old) and when he wags it, it’s the cutest thing.
Gus should be America’s favorite dog because is an amazing dog. He’s a big boy but doesn’t always act like it. He loves to sit on my lap or lay on top of me. He loves to go on walks, chase squirrels and play fetch. He is very friendly with people but can also be protective of me when we are on walks at nighttime. When we adopted Gus, it felt like fate. Our previous dog had passed away a little over a year prior. We didn’t think we were ready for another dog, but we came across Gus and we knew.
