My favorite part about Oliver is watching his young mind grow. Everyday he experiences and learns new things. His curiosity shows in his eyes, you can almost feel what he is thinking and see his mind working when trying to figure out how to handle a moment.
If Oliver and I hadn’t crossed paths he may have remained a stray forever. Oliver was a terrified kitten, who overcame the fear of human touch, and ringworm. While he continues to battle feline periodontal disease, having already had 13 teeth removed, his spirit and personality shines everyday. If he could talk he would be the funniest and most curious kid in class. Oliver’s story is a testament to the incredible bonds that can form when we open our hearts and homes to animals in need.
