This dog is loyal, funny, and adventurous. She follows me everywhere and doesn't need a leash, and I take her everywhere with me.

What is America's Favorite Pet?
Learn MoreAllion loves to play with leaves. She doesn't tear them up but keeps them stored in her mouth. When she is really bored, she will throw the leaves up in the air and then catch them again. Her favorite treat is fish!
I appreciate Allion's loyalty. I love being able to take her everywhere and not having to worry about a leash. She is never persuaded to leave my side and refuses to go on walks unless me or my daughter are there. During hikes, she'll signal to me when my daughter is straggling behind, and makes sure we are both close toge. Sometimes, she even finds her way to me at work. Her loyalty to me even influences her to climb trees, play on the jungle gym, and wait at stores' front doors for me!
Allion should be America's favorite because she is the epitomy of what it means to be an American dog. She is not a purebred dog and is a combination of several breeds, including black lab, poodle, and a dotson. Allion's mixed genetics have created a beautiful, smart, loyal, loving, and silly dog that never fails to bring a smile to the people she encounters. Similarly, our citizen's come from diverse regions and it is our culturally diverse population that makes America beautiful.
