What's your dog’s favorite toy and/or go-to treat?

Bessie isn’t much of a toy-loving dog. We’ve tried, but she prefers our attention over anything else. She loves catching treats in her mouth, and her absolute favorite is Three Dog Bakery’s Puppy Butters. Of course, she’s also quick to snag anything Mom happens to drop while eating!

What is your favorite thing about your dog?

It’s hard to choose just one favorite thing about Bessie—there are so many. But there’s something truly special about her. She’s a rescue who came into my life just a few months before I faced one of the hardest times I’ve ever been through. From the beginning, she’s been my little “Bess-tie,” standing by me through major life changes. I genuinely believe she was meant to be mine. Her eyes, especially when she’s seeking attention, absolutely melt my heart. (Cont’d below)

Why should your dog be America’s Favorite?

It’s like she knows exactly how to communicate without saying a word. The bond we share is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. She’s more than just a dog—she’s my comfort, my joy, and my constant companion. She truly is the greatest. She should be America’s Favorite Dog because everyone needs to know Bessie, and see how beautiful and precious she really is. Her quirky personality and sweet demeanor should be seen and appreciated by more than just me and my family. Everyone needs a Bessie!
