Bode is an incredibly silly pitbull. His inquisitive nature has allowed him to befriend all sorts of dogs, bringing out the best in them all
Thank you for supporting Bode this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid PAWS in their mission to help cats, dogs, and wild animals thrive in happy, healthy homes or in their natural habitats.
What is America's Favorite Pet?
Learn MoreBode is much more interested in toys than food. In fact, his most coveted toy as of late is his pink silent squeaker rabbit toy. Additionally, Bode loves a black spider squeaky toy with rope legs. Although, the legs don’t seem to be there anymore, but Bode wouldn’t know anything about that, now would he?
My favorite thing about Bode is his kind, affectionate nature. He is incredibly anxious, but he doesn’t let that get him down! He’s always clinging to me, as it seems I’m his favorite (and vice versa). Despite Bode being first and foremost a dog, he has been known to exhibit traits of other animals. He adores sitting on my shoulders, which often reminds me of a parrot. He crawls around the furniture, jumping on things as though he’s a cat, seemingly unaware that he is a 50 pound pitbull.
Bode should be Americas favorite because he’s a dog of the people. Who better than a socially anxious introvert, blissfully unaware of all the shenanigans he causes to represent America as their favorite dog?
