Brie arrived (I’m a vet) as a 6 month old puppy, beaten and bruised, zip tied, with broken tail, shins, knees, and 13 lbs (today healthy 40)

Learn MoreHer benny bone, but her blankie is a close second! She uses pillows and blankets the way people do, and had a nice sweater she adores when it’s cold out. She plays tug of war with her cousins (my parents dog and brothers dog) and is truly living her best life!
She is SUCH a snuggle bug! And so sweet, and so good with other dogs, I can’t imagine the horrors she went through as a puppy. She truly is living her best life today!
She has been through so much, starting as a puppy, and through multiple surgeries that led her to where she is today. She really is the perfect dog, and deserves everything. I’m grateful to be in the field, so I can help with others like her. Abuse/neglect is a serious problem often overlooked, and I would love to bring more awareness to it, or at least to shelter animals! She has a kitty best friend that lives with her, and many canine friends that she loves!
