We adopted Chica so she could help me through days when I’m anxious and depressed. She always puts a smile on my face. Petting her makes my blood pressure go down. She loves to curl up in my lap, and her purrs are so comforting! Chica is also a little nuts… as most orange cats are. She sometimes watches TV, but prefers the commercials. The squirrels and birds outside fascinate her, but not the neighbor’s dogs. And she whines, especially when woken out of a deep sleep.
