What's your dog’s favorite toy and/or go-to treat?

Oh that is easy. A bouncing ball. He loves to run and catch it. Sometimes he can get some good air in his attempts to catch the ball mid-air. Fitz could play fetch from sun up to sun down if given the chance.

What is your favorite thing about your dog?

Physically, I love his big ears. He definitely has the German Shepherd ears. But he has such a giant heart. He loves to fall back into your lap while you’re on the couch, he loves to give kisses, and since he has half Blue Heeler in him, he is always checking on everyone in the house. Sometimes he’ll just pop his head into a room as if he is doing a head count.

Why should your dog be America’s Favorite?

Fitz isn’t just beautiful; he’s lovable, obedient, and an absolute joy to be around. Whether he's enthusiastically playing fetch, holding hands (or paws), rolling onto his back for belly rubs, or snuggling on the couch, Fitz's personality shines. His infinite (and sometimes slobbery) kisses bring so much joy to our lives. Fitz is more than a pet; he's a special member of our family who brings love, laughter, and endless cuddles. There's something truly extraordinary about Fitz!
