Frankie’s favorite toy is a stuffed squeaky duck he gets every year on his gotcha day! He makes sure it lasts all year long even if it’s torn to shreds. Currently it’s technically a stuffed squeaky duck head.
Can’t possibly pick one thing. But he hugs. He literally hugs. If he’s excited to see you and you’re sitting on the ground he will put his front paws around your neck and put his head on your shoulder. Tied only with his underbite. And maybe that sound he makes when he’s super content. It’s something like a groan.
He literally charms everyone he meets. His wagging tail spreads joy. And he’s my first rescue — before adopting Frankie I had one canine soulmate, Cokie, and thought that was it. I was wrong, and am so lucky to have another. Or maybe there’s a little bit of Cokie in him? Honestly any dog that spreads happiness should win! I’m just biased.
