Franklin is full of personality and excels in brat behaviour. He is adventurous, loves the outdoors, food and wrestling his dog brother.

Franklin’s favourite toy is whatever he can push off of the counter with his paw, the more fragile and bigger mess the object makes when it falls, the better. His go-to treat is anything edible left on the counter that his subordinates forgot to put out of reach (raw chicken breast, uncooked rice, baking flour, etc.). Bonus points if he can get his paws in the treat and then track it around the house.
My favourite thing about Franklin is his relentlessness. If Franklin thinks he deserves to be fed seconds after just getting fed, he will let you know. For hours. Until you lose your mind and cave because you can’t bear to listen to his screams any longer. I love his ability to grasp advanced concepts like time and how it relates to his feeding schedule. My absolute Favorite thing about Franklin is his his deep deep resentment towards his size and inability to defend himself from our love.
Franklin should be America’s Favorite because he represents the cat community well. He is a bratty, brilliant ball of violence and tenderness who has the ability to charm even the most certain “dog people”. Franklin does what he wants to do and lives the way he wants to live and I think we could all learn something from Franklin. Franklin would be honored to represent his fellow killing machines who were born in a body too small to defend themselves from human affection.
