We adopted Franklin when he was 8 years old. Despite his history of abuse, he has loved us unconditionally since we first brought him home.

There's so many reasons to love him, but my favorite favorite is how much loves our family. But I also love how gentle, protective, and loving he is with our family (especially our 7 year old daughter - the youngest in our family), how excited he gets to go walks, watching him play and cuddle with our cat, etc. He had a hard life before we brought him home, but he still loves us with all of his might.
Even though he had a difficult life before coming to us, that's never stopped him from loving our family with all of his being. He's so protective of us - I have no doubt that he knows we're his people. He's a really special dog and he is so easy to love. We're so lucky to have been able to bring him home and make him part of our family.
