What's your dog’s favorite toy and/or go-to treat?

Mom and Dad's socks, especially when they have just been freshly laundered. Otherwise I settle for my giant spider (he may be down a few legs and out some stuffing- don't know how that happened).

What is your favorite thing about your dog?

Gertie gives cuddles on her own terms, so when she settles in next to you on her windowsill or falls asleep by your feet it means the world (and makes up for the intermittent barking episodes).

Why should your dog be America’s Favorite?

Gertie says hi to people on the side walk and makes their day. She puts a smile on our face at home and shares her joy of the little things (like pigeons and seagulls) while walking. She carries her toys out to go potty and takes good care of them inside (once the squeaker threat has been resolved). She is the queen of hugs and tail wags and puppy kisses. She's an all American (well half poodle half Aussie) little lady who's filled our home with love. She's our favorite and hopefully yours!
