Truly speaking, literally everything about her is my favorite; but the one thing that takes the cake is just how loving she is. Anytime my mom or I are feeling sad and shedding a few tears, silently, she somehow knows and comes over to lick our tears and give us kisses.
We got Gigi about a year after my father’s unexpected passing, and I’m convinced that some parts of him live on within her. She’s healed and nourished our souls in more ways than we can even express.
