Guinness is a sweet, fun-loving, cuddly boy. He was adopted when he was 1 year old and has been the best companion for the past 6 years!
Thank you for supporting Guinness this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid PAWS in their mission to help cats, dogs, and wild animals thrive in happy, healthy homes or in their natural habitats.
What is America's Favorite Pet?
Learn MoreGuinness’s favorite toy is a stuffed raccoon. He often carries it into bed at night to lay his head on. It’s always packed with him if he’s going to board for a night! Guinness LOVES peanut butter. He always gets a spoonful when the jar is opened at home.
Guinness is SO loving! He always wants to be in the room with you, no matter what it is you’re doing. Guinness is curious, but knows his limits. He doesn’t get into anything he shouldn’t, and when you leave the room with food in reach, he knows to wait and won’t even try to take it!
Guinness portrays the ideal rescue & adoption story. He was originally a stray found in the south, then rescued from a high-kill shelter and transported up north. When I first met Guinness (then named Jimmy), he paused from his sniffing, looked directly up at me while on a walk, and began smiling and wagging his tail. We’ve been inseparable ever since!
