Learn MoreHagrid loves any and every treat, which is to be expected when he began life starving on the streets. His FAVORITE treat is cheese, which he gets in abundance when he visits his grandparents (to his mom’s chagrin).
Hagrid’s eyes are soulful and every day I see how happy he is and how much he loves me. I’m so lucky I got to adopt him and give him the life he should’ve had from the beginning. He loves to snuggle and will often ask for more pets by tapping me with his paw.
In addition to being GORGEOUS, I think Hagrid should be America’s Favorite because he embodies the beauty of rescue. Hagrid started out as a stray living in the streets for 2 years before I rescued him. And now he’s happy, affectionate, playful and an angel. He’s regarded as a “perfect dog” by everyone who meets him. He also pays it forward and has been a foster brother to many puppies and dogs needing rescue in his home city. Hagrid is without a doubt America’s Favorite!
