What's your dog’s favorite toy and/or go-to treat?

Hagrid's favorite snack is string cheese. When he was first put in his wheelchair he was so upset that he wouldn’t eat anything EXCEPT string cheese!

What is your favorite thing about your dog?

He gives the best toothy grin whenever he sees his human friends! If you didn’t know it was a smile, he would be intimidating. But it’s his way of saying he is so happy to see you!

Why should your dog be America’s Favorite?

Hagrid is sweet and gentle despite his disability and current chemo treatments. He was found after being hit by a car and had to have a leg amputation. For five years, he did great as a tripod until arthritis finally took over his other front leg. But he never let it get him down and now he spends his days at a high school offering comfort and joy to students.
