Honey is 15, spunky despite her age, and though she’s lost most of her sight and hearing, her love and loyalty shine brighter than ever.
Thank you for supporting Honey this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid PAWS in their mission to help cats, dogs, and wild animals thrive in happy, healthy homes or in their natural habitats.
What is America's Favorite Pet?
Learn MoreHoney has a hard time chewing treats anymore, but we’re still able to give her the soft “Canine Carry Outs” treats. Her favorite flavor is bacon!
My favorite thing about Honey is her feisty, wild personality. Even as she’s gotten older, she still has a spark that makes her unique. She’s always been loyal and loving, and makes bad days feel better just by being there. Honey has been my constant companion through every stage of my life, from kindergarten to adulthood. Watching her grow up alongside me has been one of the most special parts of my life.
Honey should be America’s Favorite because she represents the unconditional love and loyalty dogs bring into our lives. She had a seizure 6 months ago that sadly affected her health. So much of her energy has faded with age, but I cherish every moment I can with my sweet (and feisty) senior girl. If I had it my way, I’d keep her forever. Enjoy every moment you have with your pets!
