Learn MoreKai likes destroying toys, finding the squeaker and ripping out the stuffing. No toy lasts more than 10 minutes. His favorite treat is Milk-Bone Maro-snacks and anything chicken. You will never find him eating a fruit or vegetable.
He loves deeply but acts tough and likes to play it cool. When I'm not looking, he takes my pillow to sleep on. He loves being with family on the holidays and his aunt's home-cooking.
He has show-stopping good looks, sophistication, a heart of gold and a keen sense of humor. Kai's first four years of life were tumultuous, and he was in four different homes. By the time I met him, he had a reputation for being aggressive. The shelter thought they wouldn't be able to adopt him out and would have to move him to their sanctuary in upstate New York. He's overcome adversity with grace, even when I struggled. "People abandon you in the wind, a dog follows you through the storm."
