Receive Text UpdatesMaverick has two favorite toys. His ball (oversized tennis ball) and his stuffed animal dog with plaid paws. And if you tell him to get one of them he knows the difference and will bring it to you.
I think the funniest thing about Maverick is that he burps like a grown man regularly and then looks at us for approval with a smile. Besides that, he is the perfect guard dog but also the sweetest dog you will ever meet. Once he meets you, he is your friend for life.
We have had dozens of dogs in our life and Maverick has more personality than any we have ever met. I wish we could freeze time and have him as our companion forever. He is the true definition of a “man’s (human’s) best friend.” There is no way to put in words how wonderful he is. We saved him from a rough life and he accepted us as his family immediately.
