Moses is a handsome, sweet, funny 12 -year-old cat, who was living on the streets for 10 years. He had a sad start to life but no more.
Thank you for supporting Moses this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid PAWS in their mission to help cats, dogs, and wild animals thrive in happy, healthy homes or in their natural habitats.
What is America's Favorite Pet?
Learn MoreMoses’s favorite treats are Blue Buffalo Bursts with Paw-Licken Chicken and Lil Soups by Friskies. His favorite toy is a little stuffed pink mouse and he only likes to play by himself especially in the wee hours of the night.
My favorite thing about my beautiful Moses is that even though he’s not an affectionate cat, he does let me hold him and pet him but not for too long. Also, he’s so funny. Being a street cat, he’s very picky about his food. Sometimes I have to go back and forth from two cans because he likes different flavors. And once I put on my coat or grab my keys, he knows I’m leaving and jumps on the couch next to his treat bowl. I also loved how he survived the streets for so long, hence the name, Moses.
Moses should be America’s favorite because he survived ten years on the streets. He even has a microchip which means someone actually adopted him but then dumped him on the streets. Every time it rains, snows, thunders and lightning and how cold it is now, I am so thankful he is home safe with me. I gave him the name Moses from the Bible. Moses was a strong man who survived the wilderness and my Moses survived the outside too.
