Jack's favorite toy is a ball of any kind, but especially a tennis ball or a ChuckIt! ball. You can't bring any ball or toy in the house without his knowledge because he is able to find them with his powerful sense of smell. His favorite treats are carrots, pumpkin, and, on the rare occasion he can convince me to buy them, pig ears.
I love that Jack is happy as long as he is with his people or his puppy brother, Blue. He is just happy to be along for the ride; whether that is a day at home, hikes on his favorite trail, or just a drive Jack let's us know he is happy. One of my most favorite Jack traits is that he always comes to me when he has finished his dinner to give me a kiss as if he is saying thank you.
Despite spending most of his first year alone in a backyard before coming to his forever home, Jack is the most wonderful dog you will ever meet. He has such a love of life and the little things like enjoying the sunshine and small breezes. After our 15 year old schnauzer died, Jack helped us welcome another miniature schnauzer and has helped him too become a wonderful companion. He has shown us and others what an incredible breed welsh terriers are and we are thankful for him everyday.
