She has been by my side thru cancer twice. She knows when I'm feeling sick and where. If it's my stomach, she will curl up near my stomach. If I'm having a headache, she curls up at my head.
Patches was a rescue. She was found on the side of a busy highway with her two siblings as a tiny baby. When I was going thru breast cancer, my friend, who works at a rescue, asked me to foster her. I agreed. The rest is history. Patches was a foster fail. She went thru a lot her self as a kitten. She was born with a blocked tear duct. At first, vets thought it was a recurring eye infection. They did a lot to her to try to cure it. From eye drops to blood from a healthy cat. Nothing worked.
