Pebbles was a stray we adopted at age 3 months. Now at age 12 she is an indoor cat with a personality and always has a serious look
Thank you for supporting Pebbles in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid PAWS in their mission to help cats, dogs, and wild animals thrive in happy, healthy homes or in their natural habitats.
What is America's Favorite Pet?
Learn MoreShe loves her little stuffed mice and anything that has a string on it. Her go to treat are potato chips she even hears us opening a bag of potato chips she come running.
She was abused when she was born. When we found her in the shelter she was scarred of everything she never ever meowed either. It took over a year for her to gain our confidence I would carry her and hold her. My favorite this about her is she now trusts us she has a routine when we go to bed she jumps on the bed checks that we are both there and the. Goes to her perch to sleep
We were so close to taking her back to the shelter after only 6 days she would bite and scratch us till we bled. Her first vet visit the vet tried to check her to make sure she was ok she tore his arm to shreds. It would have been easy to just take her back and find another cat, but I couldn’t do that to her. I held her, carried her to bed and to her perch for a year to gain her confidence. She should be America’s favorite because she overcame her fear and is now a beautiful loving animal.
