What's your cat’s favorite toy and/or go-to treat?

If it's on our plate, Phoebe or "Feebs" as we call her, wants it. If Phoebe had to choose HER favorite treat it would be string cheese or chicken. For cat-focused treats, she enjoys a Chicken-flavored Temptation cat treat. We also asked Feebs about her fav toy, and she said it's whenever she can get her paws on a hair tie. Phoebe is a retriever cat, meaning she likes to play fetch with toys, including her favorite hair ties. She will go get them and bring them to us when she's ready to play.

What is your favorite thing about your cat?

Phoebe is the most hilarious cat we've ever met - we say she's always "Feeb'in" around. If you even look at Phoebe she does her signature move - a semi backflip into a full sprint zoomie. Because she was sick as a kitten, she can't properly meow and has her own special language. It sounds like part alien, part bird, part wild cat - in a cute way. No matter how bad a day you have, within 20 seconds of being with Feebs, you can't help but smile and laugh.

Why should your cat be America’s Favorite?

Phoebe is an example that everyone should give cats/kittens in shelters a chance. Phoebe has grown to be a beautiful cat from the inside out - but when we first met and fostered her and her siblings, they were underweight, sick, dirty, and scared. If we had never given them a chance, we would have missed out on having this amazing cat who lights up our life every single day. Sometimes cats, like people, just need someone to believe in them and give them the love and support they deserve.
