What's your dog’s favorite toy and/or go-to treat?

Princess Polly's favorite toy is her squeaky and plush Lamb Chop character doll. Boiled chicken is always her favorite mixed in with her food. She stands next to her handler with wide eyes and a wagging tail as the chicken is being diced for her.

What is your favorite thing about your dog?

Princess Polly brings great joy, calmness, and companionship to all stakeholders in Diamond Lake School District 76 (D76) in Mundelein, IL. Through her participation and supportive presence, she is recognized and loved for her superior contribution to social emotional learning, mental health, positive behavior reinforcement, and classroom engagement for all students PreK-8th Grade. Princess Polly touches the lives of students each and every day!

Why should your dog be America’s Favorite?

Princess Polly is more than a four legged friend. Rescued from a puppy mill in Alabama by Canines4Comfort 501 (c)(3)organization, she is the perfect example of how impactful and important dogs are in schools to support students, staff, and families through times of crisis and trauma, how she adds to celebrations, and how she impacts student performance. Princess Polly should be America's Favorite because she is truly one of a kind and living her best life by impacting the D76 community.
