My favorite thing about Rex is how much he wants to help me with mobility and medical alerts. He's only been in training for 3 weeks and he already knows how to do deep pressure therapy, and is working on scent training. He knows all his basic commands such as place, sit, down, stay, back up, under, and cover.
Rex should be America's favorite dog because we adopted him from the shelter when he was on the red list he had only 2 days left to live. We took him to be assessed to become a medical service dog and he passed with flying colors. He's now working to become my service dog for multiple medical issues. He is very smart and lovable but that doesn't stop him from being a goofball. He loves to play hard but he works even harder. His trainer says he's very quirky but he's an amazing worker.
