Learn MoreSadie isn't much of a toy dog, the only thing we can get her to entertain is her favorite Kong filled with some peanut butter. We live on a farm and she just loves to run around free. She does a good job keeping her eyes on the chickens and her humans too. For a 17 year old pup she still runs and chases anything she doesn't think belongs on the property. She does love to rough house and play around with her humans and loves her freshly smoked cow leg joints from our local meat market.
I love that she always humors me when I want to take pictures of her. But that she also gets jealous if I'm outside taking nature photos, or pictures of the chickens. I also love how excited she is to see me when I get home but hate that she gets so sad to see me leave. She really is my best friend and brings me sanity in this insane world.
Sadie should be America's favorite because she's the bestest, sweetest dog who just loves life and spreads smiles. She's had a long life with lots of love and heartbreak. Before she and I became fur friend grrrfriends I had lost my longtime dog Roxy and she had lost her Dad. I wasn't ready for another dog, but she wasn't ready for another human either but we found eachother when we needed eachother most.
