What's your cat’s favorite toy and/or go-to treat?

Selena loves her scratching post the most. She always makes sure she checks to see if you're watching. She can make a toy out of anything! She gets the zoomies and plays chase with her Lambchop stuffed toy. Her favorite treats are Greenies, but she loves it when I crumble up a potato chip for her. She also likes a taste of bacon... from my plate!

What is your favorite thing about your cat?

Selena is my best friend. She sleeps up against me and purrs loudly. When I'm sick, she's there for me. If I'm sad, she can tell and pats my face gently. We often share a pillow. She gets 3/4 of it, I might add. Yes, I spoil her, but she deserves it. If I ask for a kiss, she gives me an Eskimo kiss. She also will give you a high 5, if you ask her to.

Why should your cat be America’s Favorite?

Selena had a hard start to her life. She was living in a dog/cat hoarding situation. Over 30 were rescued. We'd just lost our 15 yr old cat to diabetes. A friend saw her picture on a rescues website and she shared her with me. The next day we drove 2 hours to go pick her up for a sleepover. Well, she hit it off with our 2 dogs & chickens, so we made the decision to seal the deal. She's smart, learns tricks quickly & she's become my lifeline. I suffer from anxiety. She keeps me laughing!
