Blue, my Norwegian Elkhound, is only 9 months old. We picked him up and he held his little Lamb Chop close. Now he has a big Lamb Chop and it's just as close.
Blue, the Norwegian Elkhound, is a great service dog. He knows when I'm down, He lays in my lap and hugs or, when I fall he helps me up by literally getting under me raising up. He helps me when we're out and if he doesn't like the way a person speaks or gestures to me he is standing between me and them and mumbles, no growls, he is a great attitude adjuster.
Shadow Blue, the Norwegian Elkhound, is from a long long of dogs from Viking decent. At 9 months his eyes show an old soul. He is still learning and is very much a puppy but his instincts to protect and guard show up when needed. He is the most gentle loving dog. He is what an Elkhound is.
