Learn MoreFavorite toy is a rubber ball that I throw and she is able to catch on the first bounce. Next would be an empty plastic milk jug that she can play with by herself. Chewing and throwing it into the air herself and trying to catch it.
When she can calm down after a few minutes in the house. (First 5 - 10 minutes is running full speed around inside our house and jumping up on us and furniture.) Not Good! Later, she calms down and gets a treat or two for calming down. She will often jump onto the couch that my wife is on and will put her head in her lap. If we are watching TV, she may fall to sleep in her lap. She is only 7 months old and has WAAAYYYYYY too much energy. She is so sweet when she calms down.
She is a good looking dog and with the breeds that make her up, her behavior is no surprise. We need to work hard to get her under better control and then she will be a stunning great looking, strong, and hopefully well behaved dog. My wife wants to train her to do nose work. She has done that with her dog before Shasta. We think that she will be good at it.
