What's your cat’s favorite toy and/or go-to treat?

Stevie loves to run around in his cat tunnel while carrying a pom pom in his mouth! He gets the zoomies but is afraid of running into obstacles in the house, so the tunnel gives him a safe space to sprint full speed.

What is your favorite thing about your cat?

Stevie is the biggest cuddler. He likes to wake me up in the middle of the night and lay across my neck while suckling on my shirt or pillow. He also doesn’t meow— he just grunts and groans. Stevie wags his tail like a dog when he’s happy, which is pretty much always!

Why should your cat be America’s Favorite?

Stevie has had an incredibly hard life, and he’s not even a year old. He was rescued from a kill shelter in Georgia, and when I adopted him, he had a double eye infection that had spread to his lungs. Stevie was found to have almost no immune system and required a lot of love and medication to get him healthy. When we saw an ophthalmologist, we found out he was completely blind and likely always has been. Stevie has to get his eyes removed within the next few months, or else he could get cancer.
