Taros treat ritual is my favorite! Whenever he gets a treat, he very gently takes it with his teeth and quickly runs to a corner of the room to play with it before finally eating it. His little ritual always reminds me to be present and grateful for life’s simplest pleasures.
Taro’s story is one of second chances, acceptance, and choosing joy. I found Taro at a rescue shelter. His previous owners deemed him “too much” to handle. We took a chance on each other and I quickly realized how “too much” was a misrepresentation for loving tail wag's and yodeling “awoos”. Through all of life’s challenges, Taro has never failed to weather the storm right by my side, making each day brighter than the last with a simple “awoo”. Taro is a symbol of a blessing in disguise.
