Twinky's favorite toys are any soft toys that squeak, whether a ball, toy bone, or animal. As long as they squeak or make noise, he is happy! His go-to treats are Freshpet, Dog Joy Chicken Soft, and Fresh Natural Treats.
I find it amusing how Twinky confidently walks around, puffing himself up when he sees other dogs, no matter their size, even though he’s the smallest in the neighborhood. He’s blissfully unaware of the potential of those larger dogs. A classic case of the Napoleon Complex! I also love his sweet habit of trailing after me from room to room, resting his head on my lap, or lying across my feet to ensure I won’t leave without him. Twinky shows just how much he wants to be by my side.
Twinky should be America’s Favorite Pet for his adorable and intelligent nature and his role as a source of comfort during tough times. After my mother had to euthanize her dog, she promised never to have another because of the heartache she endured. When my niece brought Twinky home, she fell in love. Over the past 10 years, he has brought my family together, promoting hope and showing unconditional love to everyone, from babies to the elderly. It’s this compassion that truly makes him unique.
