What is America's Favorite Pet?
Learn MoreAlthough he is fully blind, he is still able to play fetch and chase balls, so long as they make noise. His favorite is a two handled Kong squeaky ball. He not only chases it outside, but it is used as a 'safety blanket' when walking around new spaces. It also doubles as his leash, as we are able to go on walks with him latched to one of the handles (he wont let go once he has it).
His love for everyone! Anyone he meets he treats as his best friend (from rabbits to cats to dogs to people). He will literally just trust fall into whoever shows him attention and then give all his love and appreciation. The story and pictures/videos that were captured during his transport from Philadelphia to Chicago back on December 15, 2018 perfectly illustrate his love and openness to the inherent good of humanity. He knew in his soul they were all helping him get 'home'...
Even though he was literally tossed to the streets at the onset of his disability, Tyson treats everyone just how God intended. Tyson puts all of the world before himself. Tyson's pure soul literally help guide a friend who was at her core, petrified of dogs, see their inherent nature, to where she is now a proud dog mom. Tyson exemplifies every beautiful characteristic of what we love in dogs...
