Winnie loves watching TV, she can lay in front of the set all day long watching and listening. She takes great notice to everyone who comes on TV , turning her head back and forth to the sounds of other dogs, cats and birds. I think Winnie secretly wants to be a movie star. Winnie loves cheese
Winnie has been my therapist, We found each other at the time that we both needed each other. She knows when I need a hug or just comfort knowing I'm not alone. I lost my mother in November 2023, Winnie has been right here with me every step of the way. Winnie can sense when I'm not feeling well, she can alert me that I'm fixing to have a dizzy spell by making sure she puts her head on my legs.
Winnie should be America's Favorite Dog because she is my inspiration for Winnie's Warrior's Sanctuary. She is the perfect example that shelter dogs need and deserve another chance in life. She is the perfect example of compassion, love and hope. We live about 6 miles from the shelter She came from, each night she would run to the corner of our property hearing all the dogs left behind bark, she was familiar with their barking, she remembered them, she would bark, then look at me & whine
