Zoey is a Doberman husky GSP mix rescued from under a porch as a puppy. She now enjoys walks, dog parks, snuggles, and playing in the snow.
Thank you for supporting Zoey this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid PAWS in their mission to help cats, dogs, and wild animals thrive in happy, healthy homes or in their natural habitats.
What is America's Favorite Pet?
Learn MoreZoey’s favorite chews are benebones, collagen bones, and real antlers and horns. She also loves any soft, stuffed toy that she can rip to shreds and anything involving treats (especially peanut butter).
My favorite thing about Zoey is that she is extremely loyal. Zoey was passed around by several caretakers prior to her adoption, therefore she was nervous and shy upon meeting. Over time she began to view me as a comfort and trust that I would take care of her. Our bond assures me that she would pick me out of anyone in a room and protect me from incoming danger (aka the doorbell lol). She is great companion whether it be a car ride, a walk, or just a nap. She is truly a girls best friend.
Zoey should be America’s favorite dog because she represents all of the sweet rescue dogs who are waiting for forever homes just like she was. Zoey is particularly unique because she has the more personality than most humans and the attitude to go with it. She LOVES to talk and has no problem telling you what she wants. AND she does somersaults when she plays outside. At the end of the day she loves her blankies and some snuggles. Not to mention she is the most gorgeous mutt I have ever seen.
