Aldi had a hard life before we met: starved and beaten. Now, she is living her best life. She loves floating in the lake on a pool noodle.
Thank you for supporting Aldi in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid PAWS in their mission to help cats, dogs, and wild animals thrive in happy, healthy homes or in their natural habitats.
What is America's Favorite Pet?
Learn MoreAldi’s favorite treat is belly rubs. I know that’s odd. She’s pretty indifferent about toys. She likes a snack. And she loves anything with liver in it. But will drop everything for an ear scratch or a belly rub. She’s really happiest sitting right next to you.
Aldi is a little bit timid when life changes. Her heart beginning has made it difficult for her to come out of her shell. But she has found a safety and love in our home. She has really come out of her shell and showing her silly side. And she could super excited she does Zumiez back-and-forth on the sofa rearranging all the furniture. We don’t care. It means she’s happy and feeling great.
Aldi had a rough start, but has really come into herself. She has worked hard to gain confidence and trust. She has an older dog sister and 3 human sisters that are the light of her life. It may seem strange for a dog to make you proud but watching her grow has been a highlight. Not only has is she amazing but seeing her grow has brought our entire family closer.
