She loves all of her toys and has quite the collection. She will get this adorable energy and go over to her toy basket looking for the special one each day. A few of her top favorites are her T-Rex , sea turtle, and purple owl that was a gift from a family members’ dog named Waggles she came home with one Thanksgiving. Her go-to treats are her morning greenie and her very own egg she gets cooked for her each weekend where she sits at the table to join us for breakfast!
To be honest she has many but the one that sticks out to me most is she can literally feel your emotions and reacts to them in one of two ways. She will either stay by you and lay with you with a healing grounding energy that feels so lovely you never want to move (we call it “getting pugged”) or she will start behaving the way you feel. It’s a good reminder to check my own energy and remember to take a moment to breathe and reset.
Appa should be America’s Favorite because she’s equal parts joy, comfort, and heart. Appa spreads smiles everywhere she goes—through snuggles, sass, playfulness, and her calming presence. Whether she’s making people laugh or helping us all feel grounded on hard days, she shows just how powerful a dog’s love can be.
