Learn MoreArchie has been obsessed with the $5 seasonal stuffies at the pet store since puppyhood. He ferociously tears any dangling ear or tail off and then carries the toy everywhere, often nursing on it with flopping ear tips while he drifts off to nap. When someone new enters, or even when we just return from work, he is sure to seek it out and do a victory lap with it.
Archie is a friend to everybody, and the resident “party boy.” His daring cattle dog nature makes him confident in any new situation. He is gentle and friendly toward baby animals, and happy to meet any child. When we got our very timid rescue pup, Archie took him under his wing with gentle confidence, and became an emotional support for our scared rescue to lean on. He’s always ready to go with on any adventure.
Archie is the quintessential Good Dog, and a favorite to everyone he meets. He has spent his life spreading optimism and joy, with no sign at stopping any time soon! Always ready to be a steward for children, baby animals, or timid rescue dogs, his ready-to-go attitude is infectious. Archie would be more than happy to help others in any way possible with any reward he should get for being America’s Favorite!
