What is America's Favorite Pet?
Learn MoreAria’s favorite toys are anything that even vaguely resembles string. Drag a string along the ground and it becomes irresistible - it must be pounced on. Sweatshirt and sweatpants ties are fair game. Ornaments hung with string are swiftly knocked to the ground. Shoelaces? None are safe. None. Interestingly, she isn’t particular about food at all. Aria will happily gobble up whatever her big brother leaves behind, making her the least discerning eater of any cat we’ve ever known.
Our family jokes that Aria still hasn’t found her big-girl voice—she doesn’t meow, she squeaks. When we adopted her, the handler who brought her from out of state mentioned she was the quietest cat of the bunch. Even so, Aria makes her squeaks count and her opinions known, persistently alerting us whenever a toy has been batted under the pantry door or behind the garbage can. Her communication style is unconventional, but endearing!
Aria is a kitty who often wakes up purring, living her best life. She’s eager to weave in and out of your legs as she investigates what you’re doing, determining how she can “help.” Squishy and huggable, Aria is endlessly lovable for her quirks. Her favorite time to be a lap cat is when someone is using the bathroom and she has a peculiar fondness for gnawing on cardboard. With her charm, quirks, and good looks, Aria brings joy to everyone, so why wouldn’t we want to share that with America?
