What's your dog’s favorite toy and/or go-to treat?

Baby’s favorite toy became her spiny dryer ball after she caught us putting the blue dryer balls into the dryer. Every time we took them out, she would run to the laundry room, scratch, and cry because she wanted that ball. She loves all balls, but that one was special. Eventually, we stopped using the dryer balls and donated them to her. Now it’s her favorite fetch toy, her favorite game, and part of her little hunting adventures.

What is your dog's most unique quality?

Baby’s unique quality is how smart and eager she is to learn. She’s extremely treat-motivated and loves puzzle toys, happily sliding them around like a little detective to win her snack. She learned tricks incredibly fast, mastering many before she was even a year old. When she wants something, she pops up on her back legs, puts both front paws together, and wiggles them up and down to politely beg. She also shows her love by launching herself into our chest when we get home so we can catch her

Why should your dog be America’s Favorite?

Baby should be America’s Favorite Dog because she represents loving dogs who are often misunderstood due to fear, not aggression. She is sweet, intelligent, and deeply bonded to her family, but needs support to feel safe and calm around people and to better manage her seizures. Winning would allow us to invest in professional training and care so Baby and her brother can grow into the confident, happy dogs we know they can be.
