She stares deep into your soul sometimes. I can ask her "whatcha want" and she will either lead me to what she wants or, if she just wants to be loved on, she'll give me the hard stare.
Bella went through a lot in her life before I found her in the shelter. She wouldn't let anyone get close, so I went and sat on the floor, she hid under a chair...after 5 min or so, she came out and just sat on my lap. I knew then that she chose me. It took her a month to let my husband close...now loves him (tolerates him:). Her best friend is our grandson. An 8 year old boy who suffers from a form of autism and who doesn't care to be touched. She will sit quiet with him as long as he wants.
