Bentley is a rescue. I rescued him at fifteen months old. His behavior of crouching and hiding indicates he was isolated and alone.

His most unique quality is his ability to escape whatever and wherever you confine him. He can escape most kennels climbing or opening the gates. He also doesn't want any friends confined either and will open all gates.
Bentley was terrified when I found him. His first day he bolted and jumped in a lake in Florida, full of alligators. Imagine me, a 68 yr old woman in a dress, jumping in after him!!! I couldn't touch the bottom and Bentley was swimming as fast as he could to the island, alligator nesting area. I cried as I swam, and was able to grab his collar and drag him back to the shore and safety. The neighbors watching fearing they would see an alligator attack us both, but we made it back to cheers.
