BRAHMS

The unwanted runt, so tiny others didn’t think he would survive, is famous in Boise. He has changed my life and the lives of others.

What's your dog’s favorite toy and/or go-to treat?

He loves his cheese and meat stick treats! Lambchop, stolen from the neighbor dog's house (don't worry the owner said he could keep it), causing him to immediately run home and hide in the doorway, has been the favorite for the last year.

What is your dog's most unique quality?

Brahms does a happy dance that no other dog does. People constantly ask if I can get him to do it and those who haven't seen it are blown away. It is a very dramatic combination tippy toe prance and hops that he does in one place when excited. On walks and at the dog park, he will prance around. At the vet this morning, they said, "We get so excited when we know Brahms is coming in. He is our favorite." He did his dance most of the time there.

Why should your dog be America’s Favorite?

Brahms has changed several lives, especially those of my elderly parents. He is famous around Boise and becoming famous nationwide as he has his own rapidly growing brand, Dr Brahmsy's Dogtastic Pet Care, and a children's book, The Story of Dr. Brahmsy. The little free runt no one wanted or thought would survive is now 100 lbs and the happiest dog you will ever meet. Next September, we will travel America helping rescues and low income pet owners for a web series, "Brahms Across America."
