Brisket is a young (1 1/2 years old) beautiful tuxedo that we rescued as a young kitten and is now an important and fun part of our family.

We have a long trail to the lake from our house, and Brisket walks with us and our dog Loki all the way to the water. She'll wander and explore in the swamp and bog, drink out of the lake, jump on our boat, and splash her paws in the water. She'll run ahead of us, jump off the side of the trail, wait until we pass, then try to pounce on Loki, or sprint ahead and practice her tree climbing. We just love that she takes these walks with us.
Brisket is such a wonderful cat - she's playful, curious, talkative, intense, interactive, mischievous, and smart. While she works to keep rodents away from our house and bird coop, she also somehow knows that the ducks and chickens are part of the family. She's learned how to play with our senior dog Loki, and how to move so slow around him as to not wake him when she goes to snuggle up. She loves to talk and is not shy about getting on your lap when she's ready for snuggles.
