Learn MoreUnlike most dogs, Cali's fave toys are actually cat toys like crinkle balls, feathers, balls with a bell inside, & chew toys. Dr Marty's dental chews are her fave treats. She begs for one every night before bed.
Most Chihuahuas love & are loyal to one person in particular, however Cali has learned to be loving & loyal to our whole family and even extended family members that don’t live with us.
I think she would be a great example of Chihuahuas that are unlike their bad reputation and worth being considered as America’s favorite because in spite of being a little yappy dog, she is so full of unconditional love that people need to see beyond the stereotype and give them a chance. Unfortunately, they are the most abandoned breed at shelters. They are incredibly intelligent and trainable, so properly socialized can be a great addition to any family .
