Charlotte loves all toys. Every last one of them. One isn't more appealing than the other, unless one of her siblings has one, and then THAT is the best toy. She will sneak attack and steal the toy from them, running away to illicit the chase...and then it is on! She has accomplished her goal. She is the youngest, and the fastest in the house. Similar thoughts with her treats. I have yet to find something that she won't eat. She is a true foodie!
Charlottes most unique quality is her ability to turn herself into a Tasmanian Devil, running through the house like a parkour champion, pausing only to do a few play bows in hopes that someone would chase her. It is impossible not to laugh at her for this. I think she is a clown stuffed in a French bulldog body. In spite of me owning a dog behavior and training facility she has a unique ability to humble me. :)
Together with a few clients we create a calendar with our dogs. After rescuing Charlotte and having her only 6 months, I decided to use her as my model this year. She is wild and crazy, but we put her in poses and clothes and props and she POSED. The calendar is amazing. I said "She needs to be a model"...and I do believe she would WOW readers being on the cover of Modern Dog. I also lost a friend this year who started a dog rescue. $5K of the prize money would be donated to her rescue.
