Dave is a rescued rez dog that was set to be put down for “causing problems”. Dave’s problems include needing all the treats and cuddles.

Dave’s favourite toy is by far a stuffed octopus with crinkly legs. He loves to chew it, play tug of war with it, and throw it around. He doesn’t know he’s now on his third one of them, but gets really excited when it’s back in his basket with all 8 legs attached! His go-to treat is whatever his people are eating, and he’ll even smile for a bite.
Dave’s most unique quality is his dinosaur sounds that he makes when he’s playing, and if you say good morning to him when you wake up he’ll climb up the bed and nibble on your pillow.
Dave should be America’s Favorite dog because he’s a prime example that all dogs can be good dogs, no matter what circumstances a dog comes from, or what misconceptions there are about a breed.
