An aristocrat. Docs personality is authentically biased, when he’s upset with you, he sits with his back to you very astutely.
Thank you for supporting Doc in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid PAWS in their mission to help cats, dogs, and wild animals thrive in happy, healthy homes or in their natural habitats.
What is America's Favorite Pet?
Learn MoreHe loves to inconvenience the task of tying your shoes or boots in the morning by intercepting the laces. Or randomly stalking you from a distance before running up and stopping puffing out his chest, gorilla style. he also requires you to vacuum him before vacuuming the floor. His go to treats are temptations or salt and vinegar chips. I don’t know why.
His ability to express how he feels in the moment. Very proper and grooms himself excessively well. Hes been by my side through everything from my first successful business venture to losing my first apartment with no idea on where to go. He’s a very old school man’s- man.
I found Doc under a loading dock while managing a warehouse when I was 22 years old. Hence the name “Doc”. He was too small and had to be bottle Fed. I kept him in a box in my boss’s office till I clocked out for 10 hours. He stood facing the corner of the box the whole time. To this day he claims any box that comes into the house as his fort. You cannot touch his box until he’s done with it. No interest in cat beds. Gentle with babies, eats dog food lol. We both had no family, we got one now!
