Learn MoreDuncan’s favorite game is catch, and he doesn’t care what the toy is a ball, stuffie, or bone, it’s all fair game. He’ll drop it at your feet with that look that says, “You know what to do.” For him, the joy is in the chase, the sprint, and the proud return every single time.
Duncan is training to be a therapy dog, and his gentle spirit makes him a natural at bringing comfort. At home, though, he’s got us trained. His bone-chewing ritual means dropping it at our feet, in our laps, and even on our heads in bed until we hold it for him. With us quoting a line from Wedding Crashers: “Hold the bone, clown!”
Duncan, better known as Dunkie Donut, is the perfect mix of gentle and goofy. Training to be a therapy dog for my husband’s counseling work, he has a calming spirit that puts people at ease. At home, he keeps us laughing with his bone-chewing ritual of dropping it at our feet, laps, and even on our heads until we hold it for him. Loyal, joyful, and unforgettable, Dunkie Donut has all the charm to be America’s Favorite Dog.
